The
American Red Cross Troup County - Valley Chapter is committed to helping you, your
family and your coworkers be prepared to respond in emergency situations.
Be Red Cross Ready highlights three important steps to preparing for
disaster:
Make a Plan
Get a Kit
Be Informed
These three steps can help us to protect ourselves and our loved ones whether we face a home fire, natural or man-made disaster or other unforeseen events.
Disaster Preparedness Education
Schools, churches, neighborhood watch groups, retirement homes, businesses, or any other public or private organizations are invited to call the red cross for and ask for a free presentation. The presentation can be general or hazard specific, for children, senior citizen or ages in between. All presentations are free of charge and can last one-half hour to one hour.
Training Opportunities
Being ready requires that individuals, families, neighbors, schools, workplaces and communities take responsibility for developing and implementing preparedness plans. The Red Cross Grand Canyon Chapter offers a full menu of Be Red Cross Ready training opportunities to help improve the safety of our neighborhoods, schools, families and workplaces.
